Molex's PO-ready design portfolio incorporates Deco Lighting's Ethernet powered plug and play Vector 2 series of LED lamps.
"The Vector 2 product line allows us to go to market with confidence, providing new options for lighting designers and architects looking to take advantage of our innovative Molex Internet of things to connect building arteries. This collaboration further expands our commitment to our customers through continuous innovation."Said Mike Picini, vice President of Molex network connectivity solutions.
Deco Vector 2 LED lamps are functionally diverse with a wide range of functional features, including an ultra-thin 2.44-inch-wide x 5-inch-high shape, carefully selected and combinable lengths, direct/indirect lighting, color control, and three different installation modes.
"We believe that the choice of the next generation of lighting in every business starts at the CIO or CTO level, because lighting is no longer just a binary product that only produces light; Now, lighting has become an integral part of building intelligence through interconnecting systems such as Molex's Ethernet powered function in Deco. Ben Pouladian, President and co-founder of Deco LighTIng.
The various functions demonstrated by Molex through the IoT/PoE network interconnection solution, together with Deco's portfolio of high-quality lighting products for buildings, will contribute to the adoption of the products in the market and broaden the Internet of things/Ethernet power supply market. Deco is also a member of Molex's alliance of lighting experts, which is working to expand the range of networked lighting options in commercial buildings.
Molex's networked lighting products are just one part of a suite of Molex sensor solutions that enable architects, designers, and house managers to leverage Molex's networked solutions to manage buildings at the highest level of efficiency. This backbone is an extremely cost-effective, internet-of-things, the future-oriented platform that also manages building feedback and sends the results to the integrated building management system (IBMS). This trunk fully integrates current use cases such as lighting control, facilitating the future development of the Internet of things functions.
